MeCoSa MINT Career ist a mentoring and coaching programm in Saxony-Anhalt for female students, graduates, PhDs and Post-Docs in the field of STEM subjects.
The project startet in January 2024 and consists of following components: Workshops, Coaching, Mentoring and Networking. Women from the STEM fields have the possibility to participate on the offerings of MeCoSa MINT Career free of charge and even with the possibility to refund travel costs if travelling from other cities within Saxony-Anhalt.
The offerings include workshops in different topics, one-on-one or group coachings, mentoring programm and networking, to get a better career start. The modules are freely selectable and can be put together individually for each participant. The project team consisting of project coordinator Katalin Varga, project employee Juanjuan Chen and project assistant Christine Behrens can help and advise in chosing the right modules.

Saxony-Anhalt (KGC), is funded by the European Social Fund and the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Equality Saxony-Anhalt.
The project itself is being implemented in cooperation with all the universities and colleges of Saxony-Anhalt.
The offices of MeCoSa MINT Career are located at the OVGU Magdeburg, G18, rooms 303 and 305.
